What OS are you running? What resolution are you running? Which drivers are you using?

Those (2) Celeron 466's are certainly not helping, look there first

        Let's see:
The CPU's are definitely not getting the most out of the G400, especially since you only use one gaming. I just went from an Athlon 750 to my Duron at 1GHz and I noticed an improvement.

        You can try:
800x600 resolution, 16-bit color. For more speed you could disable the 32-bit Z buffer, but I keep it on, especially for sniping.
I have v-sync on, so I don't see anything above 70-something fps, and even when it gets really busy I don't go below low-40's. The old athlon would drop into the 30's.

Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Forgive me for being an idiot, but could someone enlighten me what this 32 bit Z-buffer is and what it has to do with sniping?

Try 16-bit color to speed things up some.

              Avron,
The z-buffer controls the "ordering" of polygons. With 16-bit z-buffer, you have less precision.
That lesser precision could cause some inaccuracies in the rendering, especially in long distances, sometimes seen as flickering shapes. Or, you may see an enemy behind some cover, when he's really in front, or vice-versa.
