PowerDesk 5.52 drivers ?

Well, i read about the 5.52 being the best & fastest drivers for the G400. Can you tell me if this would be true for my machine too?

P3 500 MHz
256 mb
G400 SH 16 SGRAM

And do i need to completely uninstall 6.23 drivers? I just installed 5.52 over them, but cant seem to notice any difference ( i dont actually remember my FPS count in UT ). BTW how does TurboGL work with UnrealTournament ? Is it faster then OpenGL or Direct3D ? If so, which turboGL should i install, 1.00 or 1.30 ?

Oh and i forgot, running on WinMe, planning to enter dual OS WinME/Win2K Pro, should i? How is the game compatibility & Performance under Win2K? Which drivers should i use ?

And another thing ... in Add/Remove porgrams a have TWO "Matrox Graphics software (Remove only)" ???
I used PD6.23, until i read that 5.52 were the best, so i just installed them over the newer ones ... Should i`ve uninstalled 6.23 before installing 5.52 ? Could this hinder performance ?

BTW, my FPS scores on UT, v4.36. While PLAYING DM-Deck16 with TimeDemo 1.

5.52 are based on DX6, while PD6.x is build to support DX7 ...

The ICD of PD6.x is way more mature, ie. more compatible and faster than from PD5.x

Uninstall before you install another version, always. May be it works without uninstalling but I doubt Windows likes it this way.

It looks like your system is cpu-limited. There is only a small gain with 640x480 over 1024x768. Set HighDetailActors=False if you really need higher fps. This was a good way to make UT playable on my old K6 systems.
