I know that this problem might have been addressed here before, but I didn´t care at the time and now I´m having trouble with the game. When I exit the game to save or to config something, I get back and the screen goes green and purple and I get two screens of the game on the upper part of my display. (got it?) What to do?

OK, problem solved (at least in D3D), I set the desktop to 16-bit color and it´s fine. The game crashes in OpenGL, though.

      I have a problem with my working places G400 and HL:s D3D.

      PIII 700, 256, G400 DH, Win 2000, Dx8.0 and
      newest W2000 video drivers.

HL did not worked with OpenGL, so I witched
to D3D. It worked, but the screen went black after I pressed "Esc" to exit game.
I have to use "Task manager" to end half life. Next time I went to HL the D3D was very slow (2 fps) and corrupted with white lines. I reinstalled the game and my video drivers but the same problems continued.
      What can I do?
