Opening movie doesnt play with Mech4 and G400?

The game plays fine, but for the life of me i cant get the opening cinema movie to work. I hear the sound with no glitches but i get a black screen. I have tried all drivers for my G400 with no luck and i have video and audio compression installed on my win98 system.

Any ideas whats wrong?

Have you installed DX8? The newest DXMedia might be in order. It does play very well on my computer with a G400.

The gaem forces you to install directx8 or it won't play. Can't help you out though as I have a different videocard. When I play the movie, anything that is supposed to be black is green, eeeew! This only happens sometimes.

It plays fine on my computer too.
Might be a driver issue.
I'm using:
WinME
Driver 6.10
