G400, DX8 and Win2000 Pro - ?

On one of my systems, I'm considering switching out the Nvidia based card for a single head G400.

Any problems with the latest G400 drivers handling DX8 under Win2000? Mechwarrior 4 (get this game!) runs fine with the Nvidia, but try to do real work (photograpics, etc) with an Nvidia - phooey!

No problems here running DX8 and my G450, so I would venture to guess the G400 should do just as well.

Not only does DX8 work with the G400 and Win2k pro, it nets you a nice little speed increase (due to fixing some slowdown bugs in DX7).
