  • On-the-fly compression rate changes?

I am having the problem of on-the-fly compression rate changes whenever I record files of any great length (10min+). This is most noticeable by the fact that the playback quality is excellent at the beginning and then somewhere between 10-15 minutes into playback (or recording I guess I should actually say) the quality worsens substantially... not the framerate... the quality of the picture... sometimes it just becomes really grainy.... sometimes it becomes really grainy and the colors go way off... and sometimes it just loses sync completely and just displays garbage on the screen; however the sound is always perfect...

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi !

For me it sounds like a heat problem. To check it you could make some long capture sessions with opened case.

    Bye, Uwe.
