  • I missed 1st time around - BGII problems

Yes, this is a known issue.

Get the matrox tweak utility (mtstutil) and put the OpenGL vsync on "always page flip". I think... haven't done it in a while. Anyway, that works around the issue. As for the jerkiness... I hadn't noticed on my machine, I'll take another look (haven't played BG2 in a couple weeks).

I missed 1st time around - BGII problems

    Hello people,
I missed this, if it ever appeared, the first time around because I didn't buy BGII on release day.
    Anyway is everybody else getting:
Weird graphics glitches just before cut-scenes start, looks like it's trying to do a fade-out, fade-in but gives a weird, almost "lightning" effect instead.
Latest driver release for Win2k, 5.20, game is un-playable with this driver, it jerks around the screen.
Dropped back to the 5.14 drivers and all now seems to be working fine.

Just want to see if anybody else is having these issues.
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either
