  • Direct3D Performance under Win2000 ???

    Would appreciate any input available.

Current system is an Intel (mobo) based Pentium III 850 with 384mb RAM. I've tried both a GeForce and ATi Radeon. The GeForce provides marginal 2D quality (for work) and very good Direct3D and OpenGL (for games). The Radeon provides good 2D and poor D3D/OpenGL.

Can anyone comment on the G400's D3D performance under Win2000? I know the 2D is tops. I'm not too concerned over OpenGL.

D3D works quite well if you ask me. I haven't had any troubles with it, and the performance is not bad either.
