AGP 1x/2x on FIC KA6110

Hi by all!
Such for me a trouble:
Has interchanged MB with Asus P2B on FIC KA6110 because of purchasing the hard disk ATA66.
After that began....
If the traffic 2x is included, the speed drops approximately on 30 % in such games as QUAKE3/UT/SS2/NFS5,
The machine starts to brake, while brake peter in such games as DiabloII/GC/HW2.
If the traffic 1x is included, all is absolute to the contrary!
Where a trouble?

waybe there is too much 'line noise' on the AGP bus to make your AGP card function properly.

But if it runs fine on 1x AGP, just leave it like that, because 2x AGP won't give you that much performance increase (if it works properly).

But this not a way out.
If I shall include AGP 1x, it is necessary to reconcile to brakes in strategic games.

Oleg,why didn't you just buy an ATA66 or 100 pci card to complement your new hard drive instead of replacing p2b?also,that ata66 disk is backward compatible with your p2b ata33 controller. just a thought!
