OpenGL again and UDP error mmmm
History. I am trying to play HL with OGL on a W2K machine
Now I can do this if i install version 5.06 try any newer drivers and the graphics freeze with lines as soon as you enter the actual game and if i dont end task pc freezes hard. D3D works fine though.
Today haveing read an article suggesting moveing previous g400icd.dll around i replaced the 5.11 icd with the 5.06 now whenever i enter a game i receive message udp_opensocket error and cannot connect. but change to d3d and viola i am in although it does not look pretty.
Question is there a general problem with 5.06 successors and OGL or is it just me
and has anyone come across this udp error
