  • Win2k/EQ/post 5.06 drivers...what's with the swimming textures?

Is there some setting I should be adjusting (perhaps a 'textures stay put' button somewhere...).
Every Win2k driver set that I have tried after 5.06 seems to exhibit this.
    Who broke what?

This is a problem with both the Win2k PD 5.11b, and the Win98 PD 6.0b. Not sure what causes it, but the only solution I found was to go back to either the 5.52's, or the 5.10's. YMMV

Strange, I get the same thing with the 5.10's as well. Only ones that work for me are the 5.06's.
Woo, and you think EQ is bad, you should see Tribes with the 5.10s. Yikes.

No luck with the 5.10's? I could have sworn I got the 5.10's working before I got all my new hardware. I know the 5.52's work under 98, because that's what my wife is running EQ under. However, if you're saying that the 5.10's aren't working, I must have been using the 5.04's or the 5.06's..

/em blushes and looks around sheepishly.

I've got a screenshot of the road running straight south to the North Qeynos zone...it curves back on itself almost 180 degrees
Are there any speed increases in the newer drivers? If not, I'm not going to worry about it. I don't play any OGL games anyway.

I just saw this on my system yesterday for the first time. I'm using Win98 6.0 drivers. It was a relatively old demo game (Indiana Jone Infernal Machine) -- I thought it was due to the game not the driver since that was the only time I've seen it (though I've only been using 6.0 drivers for about 3 weeks). At first I thought it was kinda cool ... til I started feeling a little sick.

I fixed it though -- deleted the demo.
