  • More Half-Life Problems w/ G200 & G400

I have experienced several annoying problems on both of my Matrox machines running Half-Life (mostly TFC) under any power desk version.

    Machine #1 (Matrox G400 Marvel):
    - cannot make screen shots/caps or record video stream (both generate .bmp files) while running HL/TFC in OpenGL. Screenshots made are the appropriate size but are either all black or a sliver of the corrupted picture at the bottom.
    - cannot see logos, blood on walls, bullet holes, etc on walls/floors when running under
D3D. I can make screen shots/caps and record though but I would much prefer OpenGL.

    Machine #2 (Matrox G200tv Marvel):
    - get the following error when starting the HL/TFC upon server connection:

    error: hw\g200.cfg not found

Is there a cfg file that I need to make specific for the g200 running Direct 3D?

    - cannot see logos, blood on walls, bullet holes, etc on walls/floors when running under
    D3D (same problem as G400 in D3D)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i think for g200 you mean "g200d3d.cfg not found" ..... that config file is not neccessary.... if you would like to use a config file, use d3d.cfg in valve/hw directory...

i cant help ya w/g400.... dont got one
