    do they can be installed with setup.exe?

    I guess so, but my question is: Is it worth upgrading . I wonder if it fixed HL problems yet. I heard HL's flashlight is still missing with TurboGL driver.

      A change in drivers is not going to change what TurboGL does.
      But try the new drivers without TGL, and see how it goes. I play lots of HL/TFC with the regular ICD and it works fine...and I just tried CS...flashlight works...

        hey,

        Maybe one of you can help me. I am currently using the 5.55 drivers and they work fine. But whenever I switch to 6.0 or 6.01 i have one problem. When I try to play counter stike, i start the game and it's like the menu is stuck in the top left corner of the screen. It takes up about 40% of my screen at 1024x768. but I can still see the 3d stuff going on around it. Anyone solve this one?

            SPSU, I've noticed that, but only with ICD.
            Missing flashlight: drivers DO affect TGL. Flashlight is visible with 5.x and TGL 1.3, not with 6.x, TGL 1.3. Also, recently, I've noticed jerking like Smiff had (http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum4/HTML/003916.html), ICD and TGL. ICD is lower fps, but the jerking is less noticable, so it actually feels smoother. ICD has that problem SPSU mentioned, texture corruption (rare, now is even rarer with 6.01) and thats about it. TGL has the flashlight problem.

              SPSU : try setting the desktopcolordepth to 16-Bit.

                With 6.00 and below I used to get garbled text every now and then, whenever I left the game an hit Resume, I would have to get it to do something like re-initiliaze the res by going into the Video Config and changing from OGL to D3D and back to OGL (which is better by the way?) and then the grabled text would be normal again. So I upgraded to 6.01 hoping it would go away, I haven't seen it yet, although come to think of it I haven't exited then resumed. Problem is things like peoples spray logos and explosions on the ground and bullet holes all dissapear when I walk, they blink, depending on the angle the dissapear. Anyone else have these problems? Maybe I'll try using D3D.

                  Strange..

                  I never have any flashlight problem with B6 and TurboGl on Cs and I,m playing nearly every day (not with the flashlight on tough).

                  I'm using 16 bit desk tough, is that the solution ?

                    I thought in half-life to get 32 bit color is use the -32bpp in your command line. If not then its 16 bit color no matter what your desktop is.

                      SPSUGuy,
                      I have the same problem with my Riva128 at work. Try hitting ESC to bring back the menus and then resuming the game.
