  • No AGP-support in DXDiag

When i run DXDiag it tells me under display that AGP-support is not available. If i install my card with win98 standard PCI drivers it´s available but when i install PD 5.52 it´s gone.
When i play UT i can see through walls and it doesen´t update whole screen when i move around.
    I have a G400, PIII 733, Win98, DirectX 7, Microstar, 128 RAM 133MHz. No IRQ conflicts.
I´ve set AGP 1 in both bios and card.
Any ideas why AGP is´nt available?

Are you using VIA chipset mobo? if you are, simply use the newest 4in1 drivers which contains 4.03 AGP drivers...

I had the same problem with you, no one found a solution, I ended up solving my own problem, please use the search function to find more about this problem, you might wanna search for my name, hope this helps.

On my system (Intel Pentium II 300, 440BX, and DFI motherboard), AGP support was disabled in DirectX 7.0a control panel as well. I enabled it, and I don't notice anything differences. Did I miss something? I have a Matrox G400 32 MB (non-MAX).

If sanjuro's suggestion doesn't help, make sure you don't have netmeeting running with desktop sharing enabled or else you'll get no agp and no D3D support.
