It is fixable for me. Just hit esc then return to the game again.
The worst is everything is fine then I buy the AWP and when i use the scope the view is covered with messed up textures. Hitting esc usually has me ending up dead, because my luck is an opponent is just seeing me.
The worst luck is when you think everything is clear and you go to type something and then wham! An opponent sees you and kills you.

    Just for the curious:
    Win2000, drivers 5.10, p2B asus

Try raising your aperture size to 256

I get the problem of the White and Green text being garbled a lot of the time, but never anything like this.

Well, i tried the 256 aperture and this is the result. Looks the same don't it? It actually is different. Before the texture corruption had flashing colors in it. Now it is this permanent color. The same fix is pressing the esc button and going back into the game. When it corrupts it is better with 256 aperture.

I think you have directx 6.1 or lower installed on you system. Just install directx 7.x and the problem should be fixed.
