If you want to make a statement about nVidia's tactics, get the ATI card, although I don't really see that it'll do much.

If you are looking for the better all-around card, I'd have to say shoot for the GTS, even though the Radeon is showing better numbers in higher resolutions at 32bit color. The GTS has it on the Radeon everywhere else though. At resolutions up to 1024 (and sometimes 1280) in 32 bit color, the GTS is in the lead, and it's very close in most games at higher resolutions. However, if you want the fastest framerates possible for something (mostly first person shooters come to mind) and are willing to sacrifice some eye-candy to get them, the Radeon can't touch the GeForce2's right now.

And then there's the price thing..

P.S.- What I'm getting at is that for the time being, the GTS cards should be more flexible for different games than the Radeon. By the time the situation changes enough that you might really want the Radeon (because of driver updates or something), there will most likely be other better cards on the market.

mmmh er, Ge Force 2 GTS 64!

This is THE fastest card on the MARKET now. And as for games that are being developed with this card in mind (ie Transform+Lighting),it can only get better and better!

Bill Gates (Rich git!) obviously seems to think so (mmmh X-Box!), and he must have at least (SOME) insight on things.
The final Video card that will be in this console will only be 2 generations ahead of the GeForce 2 GTS now.

Whatever you choose, as long as you are happy with your card thats the main thing as i know im happy with my Prophet 2 GTS 64.

PS. Anyone know how much these cards are in the states?
I paid £309 ($500 approx) and im thinking you guys overseas are getting a far better deal (as is allways the case with everything bought over here in the UK) for your money.

      All the best,
      DJ WATTS

              Thanks Brian,

Wow, thats about £110 ($165) cheaper than what i paid!

Oh well guess thats the way it is over here in the UK i suppose.

At least the card is worth it anyhow.

              Thanks and all the best,

              DJ WATTS

Radeon and Aureal. That's what I'd get.

Well, actually I would wait for G800..
