  • Diablo 2 locks up from PD 6 beta?

Anyone having problems with Diablo 2 locking from PD beta 6 drivers? I cannot seem to find out if my game crashing is from the video driver.

    Here's the whole story: http://www.battle.net/forums/warroom...e/158983.shtml

    Thanks.

No problems here. Even after extended periods of time it runs rock solid no matter how many creatures I summon. Cow lvl no problem.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

No problems at all here also.

Might then be related to your system not properly configured or driver conflicts. Remove and reinstall them.

Notice that my logs claim that my G400 is capable of AGP texturing, but yours ain't. Possible problem there you might have?

            Impact,
Gamma is color contrast and it is on the "Color" tab of the PD properties in the Advanced section of Display Properties/ Settings.

Impact: How do I fix the AGP memory support problem? I checked the CMOS and have 64 MB set. That should be plenty of room. I checked DirectX 7.0a's diagnsotic and no problems. Also, AGP support is enabled. It used to be disabled when I discovered it over a month ago.

I heard using AGP memory is bad for Diablo 2 (slower?). I noticed your D2 ignored your AGP memory so I guess it doesn't matter.

              This is really confusing .

I have no idea. I just thought that it might be good to start here since it is obvious. Maybe ask the blizzard tech support or matrox tech support whoever responds faster... I did nothing special to my Diablo II, other than connecting to battle.net once to get all the necessary patches downloaded.
