  • Can Matrox handle these games ?

Is there anyone out there using a G400 and playing Everquest?
If so how does this combo perform. Is EQ only optimised for GLIDE ?

I am considering a new Graphics card and am on a limited budget and 2D performance is paramount as I do a lot of graphics stuff.

I have been considering a Matrox G400 card for its 2D,3D balance.

I also want to Play Q3A and UT possibly.

Is this card a wise choice ???? Will I have any incompatibility problems with my hardware (listed below)

the matrox g400 is not a bad all round card, and will run well on ur system, especially for 2d. but if you decide to play glide games, you will have to use glide wrappers which will probably slow down the game and pull down the graphics quality, and may not work at all.

    hope i could help, Nehal
