  • W2K & 56Hz in DX

I play HL in DirectX. I hate that 56Hz refresh rate.
    G400 DH 32Mb, 5.10 drivers, last HL.

Go to dxDiag.exe and then go to More Help tab, press Override... button and change the refresh rate.

select your monitor in the Matrox Monitor Custumization options... if you're monitor is not listed there, you're stuck (like I am). I already put up a feature request for support of more monitors on my G400 Win2k Driver bugs site

          Is there anything similar?

You're not stuck if your monitor is not listed because you can make your own customization.

So I have to customize that resolution I am playing on?
Because I already customized the one I work on.
