  • UT Infiltration annoyance

Thought I'd check out UT Infiltration against the 'bots (i.e., off-line). Usually when I fire, the game freezes for about a second. Otherwise, FPS is fine. This is very annoying. I have no problems at all with vanilla UT (4.20). I can't imagine trying to play on line. Anyone else having similar problems?

If you're talking about the first bullet you fire with each gun then it happens to everybody, it's just gotta precache the bullet firing sounds and textures. If it keeps going I would think you have low memory but that obviously isn't the problem, then I would look at your overclocking, try default clock speed and see what happens, but usually things like that would involve the RAM getting too hot.
