    Cannot get this program to run. Mech W3 and Unreal are fine. Details:

    This setup seemed to work OK with an i740 card.
    BIOS: IRQ assigned to VGA: off
    AGP IRQ=5 [shared with 'PCI IRQ handler']

    Does it run in software mode? Or not at all?

      This definatly needs to change.
      Assign an IRQ to your G400 (VGA card) in the BIOS.

      It's odd that Windows is reporting an IRQ when that setting in the BIOS is disabled.

      Also, try to get it on a higher IRQ (9-11). See the thread from a day or two ago with "forcing G400 to IRQ9" in the topic...
