  • I can't play StarLancer...

    Hi everyone,
Just got my StarLancer, but can't play.
    8(
During the cut-scene, I got thrown back to the desktop. If I skipped this, I will still
get thrown out when I move around the CD Player.
    Any help out there?
    Thanks.

    P.S.
    I'm using the 5.52.015 drivers.

Not real sure what to tell you except that I have Starlancer and I am not having any problems at all. Please include your system specs and we will see what we can do for you.

I think the Turbo GL is a blind alley - the game uses D3D and the turbo GL driver will not be in the Starlancer directory.

If you are having trouble during cut-scenes it may *possibly* be down to video-playing codecs in windows (although this is a really long shot). It might be worth installing the newest Windows Media Player so you know this side of things is up to date.

What IRQs are your G400 and SB Live! using and are they sharing them with any other devices? Mine are set as follows:

        Creative SB Live! - 5
        Creative SB16 Emulation - 9
        Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead - 11

The only other thing sharing any of these is PCI Steering on IRQ 11.

          My system configuration is :

          a. Celeron 300A
          b. Matrox G400
          c. Sound Blaster Live
          d. Asus P2B motherboard

I guess the other hardware should not be an
issue. Oh yes, I was told that the TurboGL
drivers might be a problem. How do I uninstall this?

          Thanks!
