  • Opengl32.dll in c:\windows\system\ question

Umm, is the opengl32.dll file in my c:\windows\system\ supposed to be from Microsoft or Matrox? I noticed Half-Life, Quake 3 Arena, and Unreal Tournament are using Matrox TurboGL. I was wondering if this was causing my Q2 engine games to have texture corruptions and flickers (you can read it in the other thread).

I look forward to hearing for replies.

The one in your windoes\system folder MUST be the one from MS, or the regular ICD will not work.
TGL has the same file name, but that one ONLY goes in the game directories, where it overrides the Windows OGL stuff.
