  • MGA Tweak for gaming w/g200

    i have a g200 and play halflife a lot. it runs like crap, or even worse. i downloaded the mgatweak program. what settings should i use. i tried
    clock= 144
    glck/mlck/wclk= 1.50

    is there a better setting..
    i know its hard bcos the settings should differ for different system,but i would like some help

    This should be in the MGA Tools forum...
    You are running 24bit color, aren't you? If not, you are using MGATweak to set a 2D mode, not 3D. At 16 or 32bit color depth, the default Fo is 168, with dividers of 2 / 1.5 / 2. Simply using 16bit will give you a huge boost (32bit will probably be too much for your system in Half Life). Read the .pdf file included with MGATweak, it will give you some good tips on getting the most from your card and set-up. I can run my G200 SD at Fo=240 with some pretty good RAM optimization.
