Win2k and Games (2 nuisances)

I've noticed two things that bug me about gaming in Win2k...

1. Seems every game that is in 640x480 is offset - not in the center of the screen - but flush with the right side of my display.

2. Everytime I enter a 640x480 game and exit out of it certain windows have been repositioned.

Any ideas?

Hi isochar,

1.) Goto start/run/ type dxdiag, goto more help tab, select override and type in the refresh rate you want 640x480 to run at, generally this will be a refresh rate that you have tested to be okay, for me I have it at 85.

2.) Double click on the quickdesk icon in your systray (it's the blue monitor looking icon), click advanced, click on options, and select automatically save/restore icon positions and automatically save/restore windows positions.
