Using MSP to lighten video footage

I am currently using MSP 5.2 to edit a wedding video for a friend. Some of the footage was shot into the light resulting in the foreground images being dark as a result of the camera`s auto exposure system. Is it possible within the editor of MSP to LIGHTEN some of the clips to make the images more visible.

Any suggestions welcome

You can try to change the GAMMA.

Look in MSPRO help to find where are gamma settings.
