Definitely a truly spectacular game, this NFS Porsche is! I don't think it is EMBM though. I can't see EA supporting a Matrox only feature. Besides, Matrox' website would have already announced happily if that was the case.

How fast is it on your machine? I know my poor computer is getting rather outdated (P3-500, 512 MB, G400 MAX), even 800x600x16 with Medium detail is rather slow on some of the tracks.

As a comparison, I've been happily playing NFS HS at 1024x768x32, with everything on the highest possible setting except for turning off Fog.

I have a site up with lotsa screenshots...
          http://home.sol.no/~xorcist

It shouldn't take to long to load...everything written in Notepad (only possible way to espace shitty html-coding

Yes..it is truly one brilliant game...I'm sorry for only running a warez version of the game, but that was the only one I had the time to download.

I will have a copy of the original VERY soon...but to buy...won't be available here in Norway until middle of April...so to EA...I'll buy their games as soon as I can get them as soon as they have been released in the US

And...well, the game runs smooth except som glitching in the forest around Schwarzwald and Normandie...but I hope that's because of the warez thing...

I run the game in 1024x768x32 with everything set to high or very high...

          My system:

          P3-550Mhz
          Matrox G400 MAX
          SBLive!
          Altec Lansing ACS54
          128Mb SD-100
          Gravis Gamepad Pro
          Asus P2B-VT Mainboard

Jord (in spite of the mini... I'm not )
When I chose to go out
I always leave the light on
when I have to stay in,
you always find me by the phone.

My friends tell me that I'm lucky,
now that I'm living on my own,
and while they've never been more right,
can someone tell me when will love come home?

I'm tired of those web-space providers...you may try to write the address directly, not clicking on the link...I will put up the screenshot, and possibly several more later tonight on another server

Ok, so it's not a specific Matrox question, but... has anybody managed to get past the 360 degree spin in Factory Driver mode???

Well, I think the game will run great on your system, we have the same specs except UI have 100mhz faster processor. I do have, especially lately, quite a low framerate...no matter if I run 1024x768x32 or 640x480x16. I believe this may be some bug in the warez version, but I will have a copy of the retail maybe tonight or maybe later...but SOON!

And to you Guff...I have had the game since last Tuesday...and I must admit that I sat for an hour with that 360...but now I'm done with factory driving and almost through all of the evolution. But the trick with the 360, is often this:

                    1. ALWAYS do the trick within the lenth of the cones, if you don't it won't be accepted.

                    2. On many cars the best way to do a 360 is to use handbrake and right/left, then when you have done 180...turn to the opposite direction (if you think about it...this really makes perfectly physical sense...)

                    3. Some cars should be able to do 360s merely by turning to one side and pressing handbrake, quickly release wheel, but hold handbrake.

                    -Xorcist

                    PS.
I drove a real car for the first time in my life today Kinda cool...though fortunately far from NFS...hehe...I seem to forget about the clutch all the time (this is not a problem in computer gaming...)

                      Hi Guff,
I have a really easy way to do the 360 spin:

                      1) Use Automatic Gear
                      2) Floor the car
                      3) When you are in the 360 area, let go of the gas and press the handbrake and steer left all at the same time then quickly steer right while holding the hand brake with NO GAS, keep holding right until the 360 is done
                      4) Once it's done steer left and head straight for cones, goal, etc...

This might not be the correct way to pull off a 360 spin, but hey I got pass it by just doing that...good luck
