  • UT: black squares with secondary rocket launcher

    Hiya,

has anyone experienced black squares at the path of the grenades when fired in the secondary mode of the rocket launcher?

Here comes a pic (had to work on it, as the original screenshot was very dark)

    Thanks
    Rakido

Yup, I see those too, but only when using TurboGL ... go for D3D until EPIC decides to release a fully working OGL implementation.

Epic dropped OpenGL support, far as I know. Get used to D3D.

If you don't have their beta D3D driver, you may want to give it a shot. Its in the tweaks section of their page at unreal.epicgames.com

Thanks for the answers. They didn't helped me, but put me in the right direction :-)

The source of the problem was the beta D3D driver from unreal.epicgames.com/Direct3D.htm. I switched back to the original d3ddrv.dll and the black squares are gone.
