    Two problems...

    Problem #1
I'm having a curious problem when trying to run Q3 on my system. Here's what happens.
    1. When I double-click the icon for Q3 on my desktop, I see the blue window for Q3 appear then quickly disappear.
    2. My screen flickers (flashes black).
    3. Resolution changes to 800x600 and the display gets very, very bright.
    4. No Q3.
    5. I double-click the icon again, either
    a. Q3 loads -or-
    b. Same result and have to change back to original resolution through display settings.
    6. After a reboot either this happens again or Q3 will load.

Q3 _never_ loads on the first attempt. Why not? My specs are below. Will using the most current drivers help even though I have the G400-TV?

    Problem #2
Another problem happens while playing Q3. Sometimes during a botmatch, I just get thrown back to Windows - Q3 exits. It will happen during the fight or sometimes right at the end, during the victory screen or changing levels screen. What gives? I'm using the most current point release of Q3.

If you need more information, please let me know. Posts or email are welcome.

    Thanks.

Q3A would thump me back to the desktop, with the gamma maxed out. I fixed it by changing my AGP Aperture setting. Whether this works in your case is another thing . . . :0)
