  • dos refresh and g 400

j have bought a new 21 inch monitor , an the
60 hrz refresh rate in dos mode is really a poor refresh on such a display.
is it possible to change dos refresh rate ?
    if yes , how?

    thank you in advance

i have the same problem. i wrote several times to matrox and they said that it is the monitors fault. your monitor must be DDC-compatible, and mine one is a DCC-monitor (CTX-VL950T 19", only 2 years old) and VBEXT.EXE sais that it has detected a DDC-screnn, but it doesn't work. getting ****ing 60hz, too. i will contact my monitor-manufactor now.

with my old g200 i was able to set the refresh-rates in dos/vesa manually, but with the g400 (and the newest g200-bios, too) this is not possible. DAMN
