NHL2000 crashes with G400MAX
Hi
When playing NHL2000 I keep getting this error message:
"Abort Message"
STREAM - invalid chunk (a7 64 e4 99 7a 2c 68 94)
OK/Cancel
...............
2nd error message window
"nhl2k"
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
if the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
Close/Details>>

when clicking on Details, I get:
"NHL2K caused an invalid page fault in
module DX6Z.DLL at 0167:6000588f.

Matrox G400 MAX (32 Mb)
Soundblaster live! (value)
Aopen DVD-rom 10x (cd-rom 40x)
Sony 17" (set at 16bit , 1024x768 at 85Hz)
software:
*Win98 (1st edition)
*directX 7.0 (no message errors when running the diagmostics)
*latest Matrox drivers (downloaded) - also tried drivers on CD with graphic card
*Original NHL2000 (off course) with 2nd patch from easports
Note: I also tried formating my harddisk installing only Win98, NHL2000 (this time with directX 6.1) with matrox drivers (from cd)
Does anyone know what the problem is and if so, what do do?
