    Hi!

I recently bought a G400 and heard that's important you assign a IRQ for the card. But in my MS-6167 bios i can't find "Assign IRQ for VGA" or something like that. The card now share IRQ 5 with my Hollywood+ card. I've all the latest drivers, bios. And I tried to switch the Hollywood+ mpeg-card to a different slot, but it still using IRQ 5.
Another strange thing is that IRQ 9 is not in use!!

If it works don't sweat it. Mine is on IRQ5 also.

      Hi,
      ACPI is using the IRQ9.
You can't change it, it is a Bios thing.
Use it on IRQ5, mine is also working on IRQ5.
I tried it on two diffrent Video Cards.
      Vodoo3000 and G400.
When I upgraded from 500CPU to 650CPU I could not use my G400. I then Installed the Vodoo3000. Then my system was fine for two weeks with the Vodoo3000 in. I also bought another P/S 300Watt SeaSonic, still the same problem. The P/S suggestion came from MSI tech Support. Later I could not even boot up my system any more. I then exhanged the M/B.
System was fine for week, now it starts to play up again when using 3D apps.
I ordered another 650CPU now I wait for it's arrival.

        Hi Grebbe,
What rev. chipset do you have in your system.
Both old and new M/B use rev. c stepping 4.
        No super-bypass enabled, not supported.
