  • Direct3D Bilinear filtering...

    how do i force Direct3D to use bilinear filtering? NFS:HS looks like shit. please help. the textures are VERY pixelated, even at 1152x864x32.

    AMD K6-III 400 at 112x4.0 at 2.3V
    Asus P5A
    96 MB SD-RAM (the old 66 MHz... stable enough tho =)
    Matrox G400 AGP 32MB Dual-Head
    Diamond Sonic Impact S90 PCI
    Linksys LNE100TX WOL PCI Ethernet adapter
    Processor is a peltier/Alpha cooling combo, avg. temp is around 85 F.

      Sure you've runned the 3Dsetup for NFS:HS ?

      mine started the first time with software render...

        of course i've run 3D Setup

        that's the only way it is possible to get it to run in 32 bit color, and at 1152x864 for that matter. i just need to know how to make my G400 use bilinear (or trilinear if possible) filtering on textures, instead of the point it is using. i'll take a screenshot so you can see how crappy it looks. it'll be up later. PLEASE inform me of a tweak program or a registry hack to do this. thanks.
