  • g400 and Soul Reaver

Hi all, it seems for some reason that a lot of my posts seem to get erased somehow??? anyway, ill just post again then :P My question is for some reason soul reaver runs very stuttery on my system. I had the demo a few months ago and it ran LIQUID SMOOTH...even at 10x7 @32bpp. Now, since i have downgraded to the 5.30 drivers(so i can play thief and SS2..)i get sloppy performance that gets worse with extended play. I had o/c'ed my cpu and used the matrox tweak utility just for fun, to see if i could get extra performance in 3DMark2k. The thing is Soul Reaver ran beautiful before all that but now, like i say, slow and lots of hd access when b4 there was zero....even though my system is running at normal speed now....any answers??

Soul Reaver(full-warezCD) is a nice game, but saved files don`t work for me, I don`t know why.
I have P2 450Mhz+128MB PC100sdram+G400 32MB DH not o/c and I must tell you, that framerate at 1024x768 16bit(32bit) is very smooth, but liquid smooth it`s on my Voodoo2 SLi.
I`m using now new Beta PD5.5 drivers with DirectX7a.
    other bad bug:
-When soul reaver game starts playing their movies, black square(20mm x 20mm) appears in middle of the screen.
-stupid game movements,i don`t like it

    sorry my english stuff
    regards

The warez version doesn't seem to support the save option.(same problem here)
Anyway, it's often the case with warez version, bugs and problem. Still it's fun to see how the game is and if it worth beeing bought or not.
