  • Nasty frame jerking in Forsaken...

Just tried this golden oldie for the first time in a long time and i get a studder. When i had my G200 in the same system it was fine. Now i get 100fps, but it jerks all the time! Has this happened to anyone else? Do any of you know of a fix? Thanks...

I didn't answer you before cause I don't really know-but if you're desperate,Have you patched it?I know there was a patch that added 32bit support, optimized for G200(at time). When I did play it it ran smooth on my celeron300@450, 64 megs, and g200.Smooth as in the smoothest game i'd ever played-like 70fps smooth!

I can't patch it cause I play it on Mplayer, which doesn't support the patch. Anyhow, like I said it ran without a hitch when I had my G200 installed. It's really weird I'm having this problem, when Quake3 runs like a dream.

Maniac, then I think you've already answered your Q.

Because I've tested it on both my c464A on a BH6 and on an Athlon system and all is good... when the patch was used in conjunction with the G400. Otherwise I saw the same problem...
