any problems in games using directx 7a and the 5.41 drivers?

I just got Janes FA18, and now noticed it needs directx 7.
I am currently running directx 6.1, with a g400max on windows 98 using the 5.41 drivers with 5.30 pdesk.

Anyone have any troubles with the 5.41 drivers and directx 7?? Is it finally stable?

I'm running DX7a w/ PD5.41 on Win98.
works fine.

Thanks, but I found out later that I don't really need dx7 for this game. Still sticking with dx6.1
