unreal 2.25f don't start..

Hello guys,

somebody have problem with Unreal patch 2.25f. When I launch the file unreal I get a windows message of error, sometimes it mentions a conflict between unreal.exe and kernel32.dll......
With path 2.24v is OK.

My system is k6-III 400, MVP3 mainboard and Matrox g200 card. I use powerdesk 5.41...

run it once in safe mode, exit and relaunch, then reconfigure to your needs ...

I had the same probs.
I installed the GERMAN version of 225f and it crashed ..i installed the enlish version ..and it worked !!!!!

Same here. I have the PD5.41 drivers and turbogl installed. After installing Unreal, start Unreal safe mode , set resolution to 800X600 in audio/video, then go into options/advanced/drivers and select D3D. Exit the game. If you have the turbogl drivers installed, then ,go back into safe mode and repeat the steps except now set drivers to OGL.Exit the gamer and restart in normal mode. Hint: if you find that when you enter the Mines , the game starts looking like The Matrix code in technocolor, you may have to set your BIOS AGP aperture to 256. I would be interested to know if you get the "Matrix" effect. Thanks

Thanks SkidZo I tried the English version of 2.25f unreal patch and it works fine while the italian version didn't........
