MatroxG400 SH 16Mb + Asus P2BF = AGP1X???

I'm using the graphics board and the motherboard in the subject, and I can't set it to work in agp 2x.
It's worthy to try at 2x or performance will be the same?
And how can I make my card running at AGP 2x?

You can download the PD 5 Registry Hacks from the MURC utilities. If you install the "forceagp2x.reg" one, it will force you into agp2x mode on your next reboot.

If it runs stable, great. Somehow it thinks that it is not quite stable enough to run at agp2x. Maybe it is right, maybe it is wrong. Crush it with some intense 3D gaming and see if it crashes.

There are very small performance gains with agp2x these days.
