  • Millenium G400 Max and Flight Unlimited 3

    Hi,
With great expectations I've installed my new Matrox Millenium G400Max with the latest Matrox drivers, DirectX 7.0a, under Windows98SE. To my big surprise while selected a Direct3D option, I've got a white screen and complete system freeze. But when I switched to Glide (Monster 3D II 12MB) the simulation loaded and worked OK, but I cann't choose a higher resolution than 800x600.

Has anybody an idea what the reason could be.

BDW. The aperture size in my BIOS is 256.

A Happy New Year to all.

Ok. Reinstall Powerdesk v5.30. You will loose some fps (i would say about 5% performance decrease) but I'm sure it will work. There's a compability issue between v5.41 drivers and some D3D/Opengl apps/games... Hope Matrox fix this soon.

        Hi,
I've installed the Matrox 5.30 drivers along
with the latest Voodoo 2 one and decided that
after picture quality comparison that FU3 under Glide presents much better that under
        Direct3D.
