  • Mystique 220 - Q3a - openGL

Is it possible to play Q3a on my system equipped with an 8 MB Mystique 220? Do the necessary openGL drivers exist? It looks the game pukes on GL initialization. Thanks.

    no.

the 220's '3d' featureset is too anemic.

      Hi

To the best of my recolection, Mystiques don't do OGL.

But if you can put your hand on a use M3D card at a used PC shop, you should be able to play a lot of 3D games on that PC. I have a friend with 2 networked home PCs that setup and he gets 25fps in ViperRacing. Sport Car GT becomes also playable.

But I do have a question too: The graphic chip on a Mystique, is it one that MGATweak can play with? Like is it one of those:
      MGA-2064W
      MGA-1064/1164SG
      MGA-2164W PCI/AGP

      Thx and Cya
