  • m3D and UT

    Hi!

I've played Unreal on my m3D.
It supported m3D through native SGL. (right out of the box)
I'd like to know if the retail version of Unreal Tournament supports SGL?
I've seen SGL option in the demo setup, but it didn't work.

    Thanks

AFAIK, SGL isn´t supported in UT nor it will be.
I´m just guessing here and it won´t work with 99.999999% probability, but try copying the files SGLDrv.dll and SGLDrv.int from your Unreal\system folder to Unreal tournment\system and edit Unrealtounment.ini modifying GameRenderDevice to GameRenderDevice=SGLDrv.SGLRenderDevice

Be sure to backup the old files because thid is only a wild guess.

You´d be better upgrading the m3d to a G200, at least. Believe me, it´s a quantum leap (I used to have a m3D, too.)

Ps: If you try the crazy procedure I described, use the last unreal patch were sgl worked. I think SGL support is broken even in the original unreal since patch 220 or so.
