g400 MAX and System shock2 problem

For some reason I can't play system shock 2 with my g400 max, when I try to start it up using "primary display" It loads up, and I get the windows message beep, although I can't see what it says cuz the screen is still trying to load ss2. I press esc, or enter twice and it puts me back to windows. I also have a Monster voodoo2 and when I use that as my video card It works fine.

You wil need to use the 5.30 for the moment for any games using the dark engine. known issue, matrox are working on a fix

You are not alone. G200 and 5.41 drivers w/5.25 power desk has exact same problem.
Would be nice to know what windows is trying to say. Jediphoenix said they are working on fix for next set of drivers. EA should patch their almost unplayable game.
