  • Matrox G400 and Q2

I have recantly installed a new system but i cant get the G400 card to work properly with Q2. On my old machine i had a voodoo 2 card and then i just choose 3dfx opengl and it worked fine. But now whenever i try to set it at default opengl it just returns to the software mode.
    My system is like this:
    • Windows 98 / 2000 dual boot
    • Celeron 400@500 Mhz
    • 64 MB SDRAM
    • Matrox G400 32 MB DH
    • Abit BP6

I have installed the turbogl thing from matrox but it didnt seem to help... I Really need some help here.

Make sure you dont have any 3Dfx files still installed on you system, i might be causing some problems. My Q2 use to do the same thing, i fixed it, but i dont remeber how. I think i had some old 3dfx*.* files laying around in my windows/system dir causeing problems....
