  • Single Player Q3DM9 TurboGL Crash?

While playing single player Q3A, Q3DM9 crashes to the desktop after the weapon icons (but before the model icons) with TurboGL enabled. Anyone else have this problem? I can create a multiplayer game with this map without problems. This is the first level I've had this problem on. I'm using the new TurboGL but I also had the problem with the old one. It works fine with the standard ICD. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem pre-TurboGL. Several maps would crash to the menu. Turns out they were corrupted in the PAK file. I had to turn DMA off on my CD ROM and reinstall. The way to check is to change the PAK file extension to ZIP and unzip it. It you get CRC errors, you'll know it's a corrupt map file.

The pak file is not corrupted. I just verified that. Also, I don't crash to the menu, I crash to an overly bright 800x600 desktop.
