IjUST FINISHED to download the final demo
and i like to know how can i run the time demo
and check the exact fps
please help me!

For Quake3?

Bring down the console, "~" , and type:

timedemo 1
demo demo001.dm3

when it finishes bring down the console again and look at the final fps.

How Exakly i get the console?

At the main menu, hit the

~

key. That will bring down the console.

i cant get the timedemo 1 command to work
with q3test.
Claims that the cheats have to be enabled or somthing.....

When i do get the bugger working, how many fps should i be getting on a...

PII300, g400 32Mb (non-max) DH (disabled, 256Mb PC100 RAM

Ok try this way instead

\disconnect
\timedemo 1
\demo demo001

that way it shouldn't give you probs with needing cheats enabled. You don't want to run it while in a map or it will give you the cheats error. If your still having promlems you can enable cheats with

\devmap q3dm17

or whatever the name of the map is, it will reload the map if u do this though. The \ are needed to input commands in q3. Hope that helps
