Ultima 9

I'm getting pretty bad frame rates on Ultima 9 at any resolution.

For those who said that it runs smooth on thier system with the G400, can you please tell me what to do to make my game run better?

I am in the same boat. Ultima 9 ran like absolute horse**** on my system! I am beginning to think that the G400 16MB just can't cut it. I am now regretting not buying a 32MB or a Max. Unreal Tournament also runs pretty poorly, however I can get descent frame rates by turning of Trilinear filtering and running it in 16 bit.

I don't know what to do about Ultima 9

I know it's not my CPU (P3 500mhz).

It's strange... Some games like Quake 2, Midtown Madness, and Drakan run absolutley awesome on my system, while others run like absolute crap.

Well, U9 is an Glide optimized game (just like Descent 3). Garriot says that it would have been to difficult to build it all on d3d...

but there shoull be a patch soon...
