  • Motorhead and EAX question...

In sound options there are three choices.

    1. Direct sound driver.
    2. Direct sound 3d driver.
    3. EAX driver.
Which is the best choice for a 2 speaker setup? If I enable EAX do I lose 3D sound output? Also in EAX properties should I enable an environment(currenty it's set for no effects) Thanks! Please bear with me, just installed my Live yesteday ...

No environment. 3D sound does this for you.

EAX is an extension for DS3D, so there is 3D sound. So you may choose DS3D or EAX and choose the one which you like most.
