You mention having some problems with the game. Does it lockup, does it start...
Any other OGL games working ok?
    What about your system specs...

If you get such an error message it's probably because you have dual head multidisplay enabled. To play OGL games you need to disable dual head.
Blades, make sure you have the right drivers for your motherboard's chipset, the Asus p5A has an ALI chipset, not VIA.

            Hi Guys !

Make sure your desktop is set to 16bpp or 32 bpp colordepth, because 24bpp is not hardware accelerated, hence is reports errors, runs very slow in software emulation or even not at all.

Besides that you might like to increase your visual quality by adding/updating the following lines in your autoexec.cfg that is placed in the 'Kingpin/main' folder ...

            set gl_fog "1"
            set gl_3dlabs_broken "0"
            set gl_swapinterval "1"
            set gl_ext_compiled_vertex_array "1"
            set gl_ext_pointparameters "1"
            set gl_ext_multitexture "1"
            set gl_ext_swapinterval "1"
            set gl_vertex_arrays "0"
            set gl_texturemode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR"
            set gl_finish "1"
            set gl_modulate "1"
            set gl_maxtexsize "2048"
            set gl_driver "opengl32"
            set gl_ext_palettedtexture "0"
            set gl_shadows "1"
            set gl_specular "1"

            set r_directional_lighting "1"
            set r_painskins "2"
            set r_lightflares "1"

            ...

you might experience a performance hit, but lowering the texture size to 1024 or 512 should make you feel confident. I'm not sure whether Kingpin makes use of 2k textures, but I raised it to make sure if there were any, it could use it.

Btw, set it to 256, set your desktop to 16bpp and you have the maximum settings from a VooDoo in 3D, but yours still looks superior ...
