resident evil 2 g44max

I have just bought Resident Evil 2 and the G400max is not supported as a graphics card option. The game makers web page does not mention it. Is there any way I can get the game to run or is it just bad luck? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Resident Evil 2 is an older game and the G400 wasn’t out when the game was released.

What you need to do to make it work with the G400 is when you first start the game you will see a menu for the video card selection, in there you can select either the Mystique G200 or the Millennium G200 then start the game.
To change resolution use the F8 key but keep in mind that this game was ported from the Playstation to the PC and the max resolution available is 640 X 480
And the 3D graphics are mostly on the characters and not on the sceneries
