Problems with Live!Ware (AGAIN! ;()

Anybody solved the problem of installing
Liveware 2.0 / 2.1 under Win98?

Specifically, the problem is that InstallShield gets to 100% and just dumps
me back to the desktop.... Nothing else.

This, by the way, is to try and stabilise the
problem of a G400 / SBLive / VIA MVP3,
Everything else up to date, Graphics BIOS
1.5-22, PD 5.30, VIA 4-in-1 4.1.4.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. By the way, as per previous instructions, I have tried the install under
W98 safe mode, same result.

I had the exact same problem, what finally fixed it was I got a new liveware CD from creative, and it installed fine. It seemed to be Liveware 2.1, but a with some small changes.
